Refund Policy

Refunds are handled case by case. Using a large share of AI minutes, Shorts generation, or Best Edit in the first days usually means the plan was consumed, even if you later prefer another editor. If checkout failed but your card was charged, write immediately with the order ID. For plan limits and what each tier includes, see pricing. Product behavior is summarized in FAQ and Terms.
1. How purchases work
Paid plans are one-time purchases for a fixed access period (typically 30 days) and do not auto-renew. Checkout and invoicing are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record.
2. Refund eligibility
You may request a refund if:
- You were charged in error (duplicate charge or wrong plan)
- The Service was substantially unavailable after purchase due to a confirmed platform outage on our side
- You request a refund within 14 days of purchase and have used little or no paid quota
3. Non-refundable cases
- Change of mind after significant AI/processing usage
- Dissatisfaction with creative output quality alone
- Account suspensions for Terms of Service violations
- Requests made after the access period has expired
4. How to request a refund
Email support@shortmatic.app with:
- Account email
- Purchase date and plan name
- Lemon Squeezy order / invoice ID if available
- Reason for the request
Approved refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy and typically appear on your original payment method within several business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
5. Canceling access
Because plans do not auto-renew, there is nothing recurring to cancel. If an admin or support agent ends remaining paid access early, that does not automatically create a refund unless separately approved under this policy.

If you are unsure whether usage was “significant,” include how many Shorts and Best Edits you generated after checkout. We use that log, not only the calendar date, when we decide eligibility. Do not share password or card numbers in email.
