Each month on Free you get: 15 source minutes (uploaded long-video length), up to 5 Shorts generated, 2 Best Edit polish passes, 500 MB workspace storage, 40 background AI jobs, and a 10-minute max per single upload. You can run the full upload → AI Shorts → export workflow within those quotas before upgrading.

Source minutes count the length of the long video you upload or import — not the combined length of exported Shorts. If you upload a 12-minute podcast episode, that uses 12 source minutes from your monthly quota.

Best Edit is an optional polish pass on a Short you already approved in the review queue. It can refine hook, trim, and captions using catalog-only styles. Your original export stays available — you can undo and keep the unpolished version.

Each automated step counts as one job: transcription, scene or clip detection, caption rendering, export processing, and Best Edit. Generating several Shorts from one upload uses multiple jobs because each step runs separately.

Storage holds your original upload and generated exports while you review, download, and approve clips. It is not long-term cloud backup — download what you need and delete projects when done. Unused files may be removed automatically per our terms to control costs.

Yes. The Free plan includes the quotas above so you can validate the workflow before buying a paid month. Paid Creator, Pro, and Agency tiers raise those limits.

Paid Creator, Pro, and Agency plans are sold as one-time 30-day access through Lemon Squeezy and do not auto-renew unless we clearly say otherwise.

Yes. You can upload files or import supported YouTube sources into your workspace, then generate Shorts from that long-form content. After downloading an MP4 you have rights to, you can also continue into Long Video to Shorts.

The finder only cuts this file. If the subject is not in the video, you will get fewer Shorts or a message that nothing matched — not unrelated filler clips with invented titles.

Import can fail when the video is geo-blocked on the server, private, age-gated, or otherwise restricted. In those cases upload a file you already have rights to use.
